About

Artboard 7Blue.png

Construction projects are complicated. Clients benefit from working with project managers who will make each phase of the project successful, from the earliest ideas all the way into the first few months of operation. Through this process a team consisting of designers, construction managers and other specialty consultants is assembled to deliver the project that meets the client’s goals – cost, schedule and impact to the community. An owner’s representative is the ally who manages for their client's interests first, guiding the larger team toward this shared purpose.

Building projects are never easy, but they are made easier when you have someone looking out for your interests every step of the way. Aparna Bapu Consulting is the partner informed owners seek.

Established in 2018, Aparna Bapu Consulting, LLC provides owner's representation and program and project management services. ABC LLC is certified as a WBE by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). ABC LLC reduces the stress and risks clients face by understanding how they work to best manage and execute complex projects, bringing their visions to life.

Cleveland Museum of

Natural History

Cleveland, OH

As owner's representative, Aparna Bapu Consulting, LLC helped the Cleveland Museum of Natural History re-envision its Transformation Project. To maximize the $150M project budget and minimize risk to the museum, the project has been carried out in phases. This allows the museum to stay open and to plan around visitor experience, de-installation and re-installation of galleries as the 100-year old institution is transformed. The ‘Gateway’ phase of the project opened to coincide with the museum’s centennial celebrations in December 2020. This phase included the renovation of their auditorium and courtyard and the creation of the current science area to showcase the research and collections of the institution.  Currently under construction are upgrades to aging centralized utilities.

The scale of these projects has prepared the museum for the larger remaining phase of construction that includes 2-story, nearly 50,000 SF expansion along Wade Oval and renovation of public areas within the existing 230,000 SF museum. The last phase of construction will fully open by Summer 2024.
